Price of a private chef in Wallonia and Brussels
How much does a private chef cost in Wallonia and Brussels? Here are my rates, what they include and the possible options, so you know exactly what to expect before requesting a quote.
My rates per person
What the price includes
I take care of everything: 3 hot and cold bite-sized starters, a starter, a main course and a dessert, composed with you according to the season and any allergies. I bring the ingredients, cook on site, serve at the table and clear up the kitchen. You enjoy your guests.
What is not included
Bread, butter and water are not included. Neither are wines: you can drink your own wines with no corkage fee, or choose an optional wine package (€17 per person for 3 courses, €20 for 4 courses, €28 for 5 courses). Plates and cutlery should be provided at your place, or tableware hire on quote.
Travel and deposit
I travel throughout Wallonia and Brussels. Travel is free within a 40 km radius of Florennes; beyond that (Brussels, Liège, Mons…), €0.50 excl. VAT per additional kilometre, return trip. A 10% deposit confirms the date.
Receptions, weddings and communions
For a reception of 25 to 250 guests, the menu starts at €35 excl. VAT per person, service included. The cake or croquembouche is optional (+€5 excl. VAT per person), as are coffee and petits fours (+€12).

What does the price per person include?
3 hot and cold bite-sized starters, a starter, a main course and a dessert (gastronomic menu: foie gras, young pigeon, beef Rossini, lobster), shopping, on-site cooking, table service and clearing up the kitchen.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

From how many guests?
The Taste Menu is offered from 12 guests and the gastronomic menu from 8 guests. For a smaller group, a small-group supplement applies, detailed in the quote.
Is the price with or without VAT?
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added on the quote.
